I have no shame...

I am not ashamed to tell you folks just what I did today. Most folks just do not air their ignorance in writing for all the world to see, but then they are not Moobear :) I am nearing 63 years of age and I have to admit, confess or outright tell ya'll that I ain't never darted in the door of a SUBWAY joint. Until today...

Now I have eaten from SUBWAY several years back when I worked. A co-worker would pick up a sub along with other things for lunch every now and then as I usually packed a lunch and did not take an hour for lunch. With that job, it made no difference, I could have eaten all day if I had wanted to. I remembered just enough to know that whatever combo he got was an outstanding sub as far as subs go. Jerrell does not like them or the sound of them as with many other things that I can like.

I had a need to run down to the Dollar General store to pick up a few needed items. Since the sub shop is just next door, I had the bright idea of getting me a sub, hopefully like the ones I used to eat at work. Of course when I walked in, I first scoped the place to see just how many folks I just might be embarassing myself in front of. Since it was 12 noon there was a few folks already eating at the table and about 5 in the line which was a plus as I looked at the menu and the trays of goodies. I hafta to be honest the girl in front of me helped me a lot. She began getting things that I liked and also things I vaguely remembered the ones I ate having had on them. So when the girl in front said extra pickles, so did I, cause I love pickles on them. Pretty much she got all I wanted cept she got bologna on hers and I didn't. She also got the vinegarette on it as I do well remember that being especially good. To be more dumb, I told the girls this was my first time ever in a SUBWAY and they were very helpful to this ole fool. I checked out with only having spent a bit over $3 and headed for home. I might add, I made it in and out with little to no one noticing me at all and I thanked the girl in front of me for her help. And yes, I think I just might go back again.

I am finishing this post now much later in the evening as Steph called and told me she and Caroline were on their way and within 5 minutes I was in Grandma heaven and this post will have to wait until tomorrow. I had a wonderful time as usual with Steph and Caroline and I will share with you good folks tomorrow.

I am outta here. Thanks for the visits and the comments. You are a great bunch of folks!

God Bless!

No need to be ashamaed, even though we eat there often, I still have trouble ordering. LOL I always get the same thing, and yet...I'm still always confused and undecisive when it's my time to order. LOL
