hello, claudia,
my mother died this morning in her sleep, very, very peacefully, which is what she wanted. she was surrounded by love to the end.
she wanted me to contact you at the end, and so i have. i send along this picture of her. she was a beautiful woman.
thank you for all you gave to my mother. she mentioned you with great affection and esteem. i know that your friendship meant very, very much to her, and she thought you a wonderful person. she wanted me to tell you this, and to thank you for all you gave to her.
i thank you, too, as friends might well be the masterpiece of life.

I got this email today and although I never met Anita, I knew her. I had asked for prayer for Anita just a short while back and I emailed Patrice with the words I was led to say. I got a brief response, "will be in touch". Through my tears as I write this, I can truthfully say that folks can make close and binding friendships through emails and blogs and other ways. I pray that Anita found her way as God can work through mysterious ways. Thanks to you folks that prayed for Anita. It was appreciated so much. God Bless you all...

I'm sorry you are sad today. I haven't lost any of my close friends, but I can imagine the heartache that you feel. May God bless this family and you as well.
It's always difficult to lose a friend. I'm sorry for the loss you feel. Our church did pray for Anita.

Just popped in and read your last posts but this lady I don't know. How is your camera working ?
We still have very hot weather for the season ! In the 80 ! That has never happened in April. But it's nice !
I'm so sorry for your loss, Claudia. Our Internet connections are very real as we learn so much about each other through our words and pictures...and develop true friendships.
