today...

I got some new pictures! Caroline loves books and one of her favorites is this one, Dick and Jane. She can say both Dick and Jane, but she prefers to just say Dick. She is learning so fast and loves to just sit and look at books. Of course her mom and dad read to her a lots too, so you can point to a book and she will say what it is about. :)

Stephanie is introducing her to gardening as
Steph had rather be in dirt than eat when she is hungry.
She loves to do yard work; set out flowers, put out bags and
bags of pine needles and has the yard looking picture perfect!

Caroline went with her mom and dad on Mother's Day to play golf and had a ball! The only problem was getting the golf club out of Caroline's hand when Steph needed to use it. She is going to be a well rounded little girl. She does not have to be entertained, she will find something to do and be totally absorbed in it.

I did such a dumb dumb today. I had a dental appointment at 10:45 so I had Jerrell to get me up at 6:00 so I could get my wits and be sure to be dressed and conscious enough to drive to Norwood. A friend of mine, Bob Harris, who is the Voice of the Duke Blue Devils and you folks have heard me mention him before, called me and we had talked about an hour when I had to tell him that I needed to get on the road to Norwood. So we ended our conversation. It was so good to talk with him, he is such a nice man. I get to the dentist on time and Melanie ask if I had taken my pre med and NO I had not. I flat out forgot it, so she said she could not clean my teeth since I had not taken it due to my heart. I was so disappointed and left to come back home. I will now get my teeth cleaned prior to Mark doing the impression for my permanent crown later this month.

I had never had a post put in and then the tooth attached to the post before although I had heard of it. It was not bad at all, but I was a bit apprehensive since I had not had this exact procedure done before. The other crowns were not done on post. Silly me tried to make a picture of me and let you see if you could tell which tooth was not mine, but it ain't easy or it ain't for me to take a picture of yourself. I am having a hard enough time taking a picture at a distance and I actually thought I could take one of my ownself. Some of the things that I think of!

I gotta mess of fresh green beans cooked and stopped at the grocery store and picked up some cube steak to go along with it for our supper. The rain beat down our tomato plants so Jerrell staked them all up yesterday and we will be glad when we can have some good ole tomato sandwiches. Not nothing much better than that.

I want to thank all you good folks that commented on my post from yesterday. I posted on what was truly on my mind and in my heart and your comments made me feel so good. I love you all and thank you for being my blogging friends.

I have a phone call I feel like I need to make. Just something that has been bothering me. I don't know if I am just getting sentimental or I am fixing to croak, but don't want to leave no loose ends because we just never know.

Have a wonderful evening. Bless you all!

God Bless!

Love the pictures. The one of her in the chair is precious. The cooked greens sound yummy. Never hold back saying what you need to say to someone. Hope you were able to make that phone call.
