just too complicated for me...

I have been working all morning trying to figure out how to undo a mess that I made with my camera. I got this one picture made and then it goes to a menu of which I know nothing about or do I know how to get out of it. It has many more features on it apparently than a simple minded person like me should have. I luck up once in a while and get it back to where I can take a picture. I took it with me on our walk this morning, but saw nothing picture worthy.

I had bought some rechargeable batteries and I cannot see that they are any better than the others. They are charging as I speak. I used regular batteries to get this picture of Roxy. So I can see that I will be taking few pictures or be doing a lot of reading in that camera book. It wouldn't be quite as bad, if it didn't make me shaky nervous just messing with it. I am not sure I am up to the task, so when you folks get a picture on here that I took, consider me lucky and --well ya'll lucky or not. :) If I squeeze out one just once in a while, I will be so happy.

Had a good weekend, the sun finally came out yesterday, but it is still a bit cool here compared to last week with the hot days that we had. I had ordered me some walking shorts from LLBean and they came on Saturday, but it is not shorts weather right now, but should be about Thursday. I like them cause they have a 9" inseam and come to just above my knees. I do not like my shorts short. I also ordered two pair of shoes, one pair ate my socks and I didn't like that so I returned them. The other pair is on back order and should ship this week. I still prefer shopping online rather than going out to a store. Although since I had gotten a coupon in the mail from JCPenny for $10, I went over to the store and they had their t-shirts made out of really soft cotton on sale 2 for $12, so I got two shirts for $2.13. They were normally $14.99 a shirt and I do like a bargain! I figured that was worth the ride over there, but would not have gone had it not been for the coupon.

Speaking of coupons, I had bought enough that I had received in the mail a $10 coupon from LLBean and used it on the shoes that I returned. So now I hafta wait til the return is processed and backed off my card and then another coupon will be mailed to me. I would hafta use the coupon on the only purchase I have ever returned to LLBean. Just call me Lucky...

I talked to our oldest son as usual last night and they have been house hunting and hope to move before Silvia starts her new job August 1. They have both found one they really like and if they should buy it, I will share the link with you. They have looked at some pretty ones and I like this one and another as it has such a beautiful sun room, that I would love to just sit in and enjoy when we go to visit them. My son has also written his first book and it is in publication right now. It will be out January '08. I am really proud of him, but since it is a medical book, would do me no good to think about reading it, but makes me proud all the same.

Welp folks, I am tuckered out from fiddling with that camera and gonna take a break before I start supper for Jerrell. I hope you all have a good evening and are having good weather. Until, take care and stay safe...

God Bless!

Oh, by the way, I love reading medical books that is one of my favorite things to do. Silly aren't I?? I don't know why but I have always preferred non fiction to fiction and medical books and encyclopideas are my favorites. Hope your week is wonderful. When you can't get your camera to the "make picture" menu....turn the button to off and then back on. That should bring you back to the spot where you can make a picture. You will get used to it. I loved the picture of Roxy.
You mentioned sending back a pair of shoes.....made me think of my shoes I took back last week. I bought this pair of shoes that I loved....Well, when I got home and started walking around in them....excuse me, but it sounded exactly like someone passing gas. I don't know how, but inside of the shoe formed some kind of suction and it made this awful sound! I took those things back in a hurry, and I told the girl why I brought them back....she laughed!!!! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF ANYTHING LIKE THAT? But anyway I exchanged them for a pair that didn't make any noise!!!!

Only about one sentence out of a 100 makes any sense to me.I do hope your back is improving. Please let me know.

Oh Clara, I had to laugh when I read your comment on your shoes. I sorta know the sound, but it might have gone away and it may not have. LOL.. The pair I returned ate my socks and I absolutely cannot stand that. I bet the clerk laughed about that for a long time.

Connie and Clara, have a blessed day!

Oh yeah I forgot. Thanks on the picture. She was just laying there at the front door as usual and I was fiddling with the camera and lucked up on the picture. And yes, I think once I cut the camera off, took the batteries out and it worked again. They seem to be alot of trouble to use in my opinion. I think I needed a disposble one that Steph said I needed..lol
