HELP!!!

Well, fellow bloggers I am here filling in for Claudia and I don't have a clue as to what I am doing, so I ask that all of you bear with me, and pray hard and sincerely for Claudia's return.
She and I are totally different, yet we are best friends and enjoy each other so much. She is such a funny person to be around, always has be laughing. I can tell you from personal experience that she really does have all those experiences she writes aboout! My life is quite dull compared to hers. I mean, a trip to the grocery store is just a trip to the grocery store, it never turns into the fun? time she has.

I do have one (probably just one of many) habits that irritate her to death. For some reason when I am giving directions I get my left and right backwards. Now, she knows this, and should know that when I tell her to turn right she better turn left! Shouldn't be a problem, but she just cannot understand to this day my rights and lefts. Of course, none of my other friends can either. A friend and I went yesterday to check out our new Super Target, Gloria was driving, and we came to an intersection and I told her I thought you were supposed to turn left. She gave me an incredulous look and said "I thought we were supposed to go to the right"! I replied that yes, we did go to the right, that I always said it backwards she just shook her head and mumbled something about me being a menace on the highways. I don't understand, it makes perfect sense to me that when I say right I actually mean left. Enough said.

If anyone is still reading this by now, let me say that I will not be posting tomorrow, I have a day trip to the mountains of North Carolina planned with several of my friends. We plan to leave at 8:00 a.m. and it will probably be 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. when we return. We are making a day of it. I saw on our local news last night that the leaves are at their peak this week, so we are all looking forward to it. Sorry I don't have a digital camera, so won't be able to post any pictures.
But I'm sure I will have something to tell about our trip when I post Thursday.

Everyone have a blessed day, and remember that God loves you!

Paulette, you're did a terrific job today. I had a feeling that Moo would be a hoot to be around. She always has a funny story to tell.

And I'm glad you mentioned the trees being in peak. I might run the children up this week myself. We like going up to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. So maybe, Lord willing, we'll do that this week.

Hope you have a wonderful time with your friends. Give Moo a hug!

Thanks, Kristi and Grammie, for your kind comments. I appreciate them. I feel rather lost trying to fill in for Claudia. She is so much smarter than me when it comes to computers, in fact she has taught me most of what I know. Trust me, she knows her computer!

Welcome to blogging Paulette ! (funny, I also have a friend called Paulette) that's very nice for the first time and I can assure you I have the same problem and my husband always gets a nervous breakdown when I drive with him. For me left is right and right left and when I read a map there is no east, west etc. but top bottom, right, left ! hugs to Claudia !

Gattina, thanks for your welcome words. I am SO glad there is someone else that gets their lefts and rights mixed up (even tho to us it makes perfect sense, right?).
I am enjoying meeting all of you nice folks, have been reading all of everyone's blogs for some time now, and really enjoy them.

My oldest daughter constantly gets her right and left mixed up. It can be irritating at times but usually we just laugh along with her when she gives us wrong directions. Have a safe trip and let us know how Ms. Moo is doing. She seems like such a fun person to be around!

Please send a big hug to Claudia, I'm praying for her. And a suggestion for you and your left/right issue - how about different colored gloves-and tell the driver to watch for the color, not the wearer's words? Or how about pointing---"Go thata way!"
Hugs for Jerrell and Roxy too and hope they are doing ok while Claudia is down.

Hi Paulette, I've been catching up on Claudia's post since I have been gone for a week and was unable to post on her blog. I do hope she is doing good. She has become one of my "best" friends in the blogging world. I love to read her posts and do so every day. You are doing a great job.I know she will be proud of you when she returns and I hope that will be soon. Please keep us updated as to how she is doing. I will be saying a prayer for her every day.
